Yea, it's definitely a very possible downswing even if you have a decent roi but certainly frustrating. Yea I am originally born Austrian, moved to the USA at 2 and established permanent residency there and have lived there ever since except for summer vacations to Austria.


Decided to go a lower variance route and am playing 7$ 18 mans since they are super soft, a little different from 9 mans (which seem pretty lame now tbh both in terms of being interesting and profitable). I snap ran 35 buyins below ev over 250 games about a 50-50 mix of 9 and 18 mans so my roll is down like 80. at least they were all 7s lol. I'm not looking to go back to grinding 45 mans + as my main games.

@ fulksy idk to be honest. I'll play some but want to find a job or go back to school so I think I'll be playing pretty casually to start. Depending on if I can handle software and softness of games to make a lil extra each month that'd be great.


In other news wtf live poker. We had a pretty nutty single blind 2€ omaha table (500 bb pots very standard) and an even nuttier 2-4€ table. Some dude pulls a 200€ pot and tips me 8€ which is super and then asks me did I tip you 45 seconds later. I'm say ya thanks or something and the dude in the 9 seat leans over and mumbles something about the guy stiffing me (he hasnt obv) and drops a 10 in my chiptray, ... ok not arguing. 30 seconds later mumbles some more, drops a 10 in my chiptray... ok. It becomes obvious this guy is drunk and he then proceeds to not tip me when he wins pots lol. Anyways best day at work in a fair while made about 140€ in 7 hours. Earnings are super variant as a dealer table and drunks dependant but I'm gonna be on the long 12+ hour shifts grind this month not going home early to earn some sure money since who knows what I'll do next. If I could earn 3k at 18 mans playings 1k games at the 7s at 1$ a game and 1k at the 15s at 2$/gm which seems doable for the decent regs that'd be cool too.

Anyways its 6am, sun is coming up better go to bed

roll 620.... lol nut low for a long time but just treating as buyins and gonna grind back up. Note to self, I will not bust this roll, or play 180 mans or mtts with bi >10 except ones I buy fpp tickets for.
