Thanks Nakamura. Yea poker variance can defo be stressful and it is the demise of alot of successful or would be successful grinders. Partially why I am getting a job. I realized I am super risk averse financially

Played for the first time in weeks yesterday and ended up opening alot of tables by my standards (14-15). Guess I got alot faster while playing 6 max. I played 1$ and 3$ 45 mans since I had to wait to clear money onto stars. Plan is to play 3$ for a bit then move to 6.50 45 mans and probably play most 7.70 180 mans which is like 3 an hour or so. I have 100 buyins for these games which is a little short for the 180s but should be fine for 45 mans at this level. First impression is that most people are kinda decent but too nitty with push / fold stacks and of course the I haaz dda toppest pair - fish are also aplenty.

I don't really have any specific goals other than to play 500 games at the 6.50s / 7.70s and to be confident in my game regardless of how I am running. Also stop looking at bankroll every half hour. Super irrelevant, tilting, and I always find a reason to quit early either booking wins, or tilt quitting with losses.

Dealer training is going pretty good, unless I do something incredibly stupid I am getting hired on Friday since they need 3 people and I'm doing pretty well. Sure is a whole lot more to the job then you think when you are dealing in your little home game.
Omaha is also rampant here in Europe. There is the ghetto 1-2€ game (weee shortstacks) and then the baller 2-4€ omaha game with no max buyin where lots of people buy in 250+ bb deep.

More importantly, what color chair do I want; orange ?
