...THIS WILL BE THE DOWNFALL OF THE UNITED STATES (the piece of shit children WE raised) if you are a parent, or are going to be one someday, bear this in mind. and, put your focus back where it should be so you dont propagate the above mentioned scenario, as it is truly a shameful one. and it will be YOUR fault. YOU can stop this vicious cycle, if you recognize it, and DECIDE you've had enough, too.
Thats the truth!! I am known as "The Mean" by my son (sometimes). I'm always in his business, know his internet passwords and know how to say no.
Any argument from there and there are consequences, and possibly more untill he finally quits arguing says yes mam and sulks back to his room. The ps2 is great because being confined to your room with no tv, ps2, etc is a punishment worse than death for a 15 year old and fortunately since he knows that consequences immediately follow actions this dosent happen often anymore.
