its easy for someone to write up sob stories on the internet and have someone feel bad for them and give them a chance but when it comes down to it staking is a business and should be treated as such i.e. don't make exceptions to your standards for accepting an under qualified horse.
Also, don't stake people who are obviously going to do this due to a history of regular reliable bustoing and degen issues.
