Bode's still treading...

i went to sign up at cardrunners today, and i ended up not joining yet. I was prepared to spend $125 out of my BR but to pay through PS i would have to prepay 6 months, and thats $250. BR is at $2385 right now and i dont want to risk having to move back down if i drop 2-3 buyins over a session. Ill wait untili 2600 and then sign up, it long overdue anyways.

villain is 44/19/4 over 120 hands and had been very aggro and played several
big pots. Preflop is standard since the 4-bet is so small. I hate flat calling on
the flop, but this deep i think its right. If im OOP here, im b/f'ing, so calling
and seeing a turn seems best w/ >PSB still left on the turn.

and one of the first hands of the session i had a set get rivered by a flush for 75bbs.

+$138 in a short session. I decided to play my fav. donkament tonight, the $3R. Im playing a few others also. Just felt like switching it up tonight. I had some cash tables mixed in, but im closing them out as long as i have atleast 4 donkaments going. Ill open some more as i get free space.

I think calling a 4bet preflop with A-Qo is going to get you into tough spots more often than not. So i probably fold preflop.

unfortunately the night didnt go well. 0 cashes in 10 tourneys. I guess it evens out when last time i cashed in like 5 of 8. I ended up playing the $10R and hit a sick sick hand.

half way through the second hour, i have 15k chips and villain 2 to my right has 15k. Blinds at 100/200 i think and average chipstack is like 8k.

Villain raises in MP2, i call on the button w/ 77, BB calls. Flop is :Td: :Th:. The flop checks through. Villain bets ~1/3 on a K turn, i call, BB folds. River is a blank and villain fires 1/3 pot again. I repop, he shoves i snap call and get shown :Tc: :Ts:.

I convered by like 107 chips and end up working my stack back to 8.5k when avg is like 15k, but i reshoved AJs vs a CO raiser and he snap called w/ 55 and i missed. That pot would have put me back over the avg. stack.

oh well, its fun playing donkaments sometimes and it keeps me from getting bored w/ cash games.

took 8th in a $27.50 FO on stars for like $530 tuesday night. My AK didnt flip well against TT for a big stack, so i was kind of pissed about that, but i did suck out w/ 55 vs KK 10 handed, so i cant be too mad.

Tonight went well. I played 1800 hands for +292 and cleared the stars reload bonus for $125, and finally my BR is starting to grow again. I feel like ever since i joined cardrunners ive been playing more solid and not playing my usually ultra high variance game. Hopefully this continues.

i want to finish out september strong. Im making like $60/hr between ring games and donkaments, and its really nice to see these results for a change. I have to put in another 10k hands or so to keep at platinumstar, but that shouldnt be a problem.

-2 buyins last night and then this beauty. I dont think ive ever ran worse than this. I put my whole stack in twice w/ a huge combo draw and lost to like middle pair/worse flush draw each time. note the W$WSF and W$@SD, theyre especially pretty. I was pretty tilted at the end and ended up shoving a pair of 8's over a 60bb stacks small 3 bet and he snap called w/ 99. FUCK ME!
