If it's indicative of anything it's that I lack experience. I did pose it as a sort of question, or seeking affirmation at the very least - which you were kind enough to offer. They're spots that I'm just beginning to "see" more clearly so, in my mind, when I've thought it through, call, and take down the pot it's a huge victory (as oppose to the plethora of spewy river calls I'm accustomed to making). Obv I realize I could just as easily have lost these hands but the fact I understood (or nearly did) why I was calling is the real achievement for me here.
I agree with both of your assessments. These don't seem to be anything but standard to me but your realm of understanding has broadened from it, and those who are wise will never see the acquisition of knowledge as a bad thing. Keep it up.
