    Default 25nl rant

Man I love how whenever I stack someone in 25nl they bought in for the absolute fucking minimum and I win like ten bucks.

I also love how whenever someone stacks ME, they always have me completely covered, and its always at a table where I already stacked someone else and have a 200bb stack, thereby costing me twice as much as if the same thing happened at one of my other tables. And on top of that, I have to stack three to four people to recoup the cost.

Its also great that whenever I have ANY kind of decent hand in early position and raise, I take down the blinds.

Oh, oh, and my favorite thing of all is when I decide to get tricky and raise a marginal hand preflop, I get like six callers and have to give up the bluff.

And whats with these little .25 bets that people make on the flop. What the fuck is that! I am so sick of seeing people do that. What do they expect this bet will accomplish?

And the Oscar for best 25nl performance goes to:

    *drumroll*
    *drumroll*
    *drumroll*

EVERYONE WHO LIMP-RAISES AA! And then they act as if they've made this big play on you.

Personally, I love how NL$25 players overvalue top pair shit kickers. I also love how they chase flush draws and then call with nothing on the river because they think they have to since they have so much money in the pot already. I love how they slow play flopped trips and get mad when someone rivers their straight. NL$25 is awesome! No complaints here.

I like all those things too, and I know 25nl is easy, but there are a few things that piss me off on occasion.

    25nl, 100bb stacks.

Villan raises to 6x in EP, you call on the button.
Flop comes 254r. He bets the pot, you call.
Turn is 8d. He bets the pot you call.
River is the 5h, board is still rainbow. He pushes, you call.

Villan shows AA and you muck 9To. Villan wins the 200bb pot.

There you go, that bluff call. Use it wisely, it only works against tricky opponents.

ie. Don't get tricky at microstakes. I think I'm going to make a separate post in the BR about this.

I love how they keep calling middle/bottom pair down to the river where they catch a card for double pair.
I love how they simply call a bet when they have the nuts on the river instead of reraising.(not that its a bad thing afcourse)
    I love how they raise,mini-reraise,mini-reraise,etc,etc

I find this is usually happens on a 2 flush board and the guy is looking for a cheap card to complete his flush. If I see someone constantly doing this after a few times I will just raise even if I have garbage. They will usually fold..unless they have axs....cant give that up no matter what the odds

Actually I will sometimes do this with the nuts or near nuts if I'm playing against an aware player. The $.25 bets pisses them off so bad they come back and overbet me, pot commit themselves, and then I push that slider bar to all in.

u shouldnt care, the shorties are easiest to stack... and im sure (or at least hope) in reality u stack other deep stacks just as much if not more than they stack you.

all you need to care about is who's got the winning game and most edges 8) try and get urself in the top %
    Experimenting - 200NL 5max.

Last night playing Party $25 I got a bit cocky and, seeing all the bad players around me, loosened and aggroed up in order to bust out a shortie who sucked out on me.

Big mistake, of course - bad play and bad beats had me a buyin down in 20 mins. STICK TO YOUR GAME DUDE.

Exactly what happened to me last night on UB. Playing with maniac I let my hand selection and post flop play to get a little too loose and I droped 4 buy ins in a matter of an hour.
