gidday nash, it's been a while.

fuck it, i should probably clear some $$ this month so that i don't destroy my bankroll via withdrawals. But i basically have no desire to sit at cash-game tables at the moment. I've got quite a few FTP points left (after a short email exchange i ended up not losing as many points as i could have via the ring game tickets debacle) but i don't really feel it's optimal to grind cash games on FTP for the moment. So buying and clearing bonuses makes no sense. It also doesn't feel that smart to leave all those points just sitting there either, i mean, insurance is all good and etc, but, meh, fuck it, cash is better.

so, where does that leave things?

well - hello turbo sngs! A few years since these were that juicy, but whatever. It's a quick way to turn points -> $$ and even if i just run breakeven at the sngs it should result in a pretty good hourly.

As an aside, a guy i talk poker with on skype occasionally and who i played with a LOT on FTP 2-4 handed across a few stakes, and against whom i played about 15k cash hands over the last few months binked a little tourney for solid five figures a couple of days ago. And, fuck it, i'm gonna chase the tourney score dream too. Watch out double deuce, watch out... dunno, i'll have to look at the tourney schedules to see what i'll end up playing. Hopefully it will at least result in some long cash game sessions most likely it will fuck with my head. In my tiny exploration of turbo-sngs on FTP today i managed outbursts of expletives at about three minute intervals. And laughed a lot. It's the awesome, i'm probably gonna become a losing gambling turbo-sng addict and need to sell my house to feed the habit. But, until then....
