    Default Your play here

$200NL game your on the button, and your delt KQo.
    UTG raises to $8.

Do you Play? If so, why? If not, why? If you do, do you re raise?

Me, I folded. Why, because I had just sit down and dint have any kind of read.

Im new here but i'll deposite my 2 cents. I think in the absence of eny info on the raiser, the gap concept comes into play. Meaning you need a stronger hand to call here than you would to raise under the gun. I dont know every one elses requierments but to me this looks like a clear fold. Of course it all changes once you get to know the player.

a little town called none of your goddamn business
    six max or full ring?

I would fold in full ring even if the KQ was suited. In six max I would call if suited but fold if unsuited.

This seems like a bad reverse implied odds situation, meaning if you hit a pair or something marginal you will lose bigger pots from getting outkicked or up against AA/KK/sets then the ones you win from a worse kicker or a bluff. I'm thinking it's better to call or reraise with 76s or 22 then KQ.

Sorry, forgot to mention that. It was full ring.

No reads at full ring is a fold. If opp is a loose donk you'll have your chances to get $$ from him.

Ok, lets take it a few steps further. Same situation as above. This time.

    1) 1-3 limpers before you...
    2) 3+ limpers before you...
    3) folded around to you...

Discuss offsuit or suited. Still KQ, and still no read because you've only played one orbit.

    P.S. still full ring.

This is my basic style, obviously different tables call for tweaking it a bit.
    1) Usually raise whether s00ted or offsuit. I call for balance, but mostly if people are calling big bets into small pots postflop (usually an exploitable mistake).
    2) Same as 1. Remember that the tendencies of the first limper are important. He may be playing AA tricky, but the other limpers are usually just playing random assortments of low pairs, SC's, ace-x etc.
3)Due to me being very aggro and tight, I almost always raise here no matter what, with the occasional call as balance. If the blinds are being nittish preflop but have a high WSD% then I may call and see what the flop brings.
Lukie: "Yo Fnord I was playing omaha earlier"
    Lukie: "I got dealt quads"
Lukie: "but everyone folded to my raise "
Lukie: "I was going to pwn everyone"
Fnord: "Gotta slowplay them big hands man..."

4xBB raise from UTG? I'm holding a dodgy hand? I'm folding it and then waiting to see what the blinds do.
