Turn card sucks. There's a lot of hands he could have on the flop based on your read and his actions... the ones that beat you after the turn are J9 suited, JJ, QQ, AA, T8 suited, 44, 99, QJ. The ones that don't are QT, KJ, AJ, JT. The turn card helps a couple of his possible hands and doesn't improve you. Based on his check-raise on the flop - I'm assuming he checked to you again on the turn - I probably check behind and call any reasonable bet on the river. Cheap showdown time. The only problem with this is that you do miss some value against a few of his potential holdings, and give a free card to a hand like JT or QT.
