Where to play low buy-in SNG's?

I have been playing the beginner ring games on PartyPoker. As my 45 days got closer (after which I can no longer play in these rooms), I decided to take a serious look at SNG's.

I read up on SNG strategy some, played a $5+$1 table and won. (yay me!) NOT under any misconeptions that it was more than luck, I bought HOH1 and HOH2 and started reading. I finished 4th in my next SNG, then 3rd in one last night. (I might have done better but I was tired and shortstacked, so I pushed in with KhQh on the button and got called and beat by AQo when a Q came on the turn. Anyway...) The ONLY thing that 3 SNG's tell me is that I enjoy them and want to try to get good at them.

I have $75 in my Party account, another $45 at Neteller, so playing $5+1$ SNG's seems a bit out of my 'bankroll'. Plus, paying 20% fees seems really high.

So, what is a good site to play low buy-in SNG's?

Also, am I wrong that most sites don't pay off bonuses from SNG's?

I know as a micro stakes player (of questionable caliber) myself that the Poker Stars bonuses are near impossible to acheive in $5 or $10 NL since they are based on FPPs

The most economical way to get bonuses on Stars is with the $1+.20 SnGs, because they give you 1 FPP, win or lose.

The only time i earn FPP on micro limit ring games is when I get 2-3x buy in stake on table and start to get into a lot of larger pots.

This is from a MICRO LIMIT perspective. Obviously if you play higher limit than any dang hand you play in will earn you a FPP.

Doyles Room has $1.10, 2.20, 3.30, then 5.50 single-table SNGs. They also have a 25% signup bonus (35% if you use Neteller, which I think you said you did), which you can clear playing SNGs. PokerStars has a rigid and limited selection of SNG stakes less than $5.50, half or more are turbos, and that's no good.

prima offers some low stakes sngs. Bonus probably doesnt clear on low sngs there though, although 10nl will clear them if you check T+Cs.
Ap has a selection below $5 buy ins which are destoyable although i dont think a lot of our players like ap (not sure if its structure or just the interface) Their speed seems gernerous to me 1500 start chips and not turbos. They do offer some 2/3/4 table ones too at the lower end.

I think the AP SNGs have 20% rake, 2+0.40, etc.

I think you are rolled to play the $5s, so find a place with only 10% rake and get stuck in. I honestly think that with HOH1 at your side, you will end up with a ROI of 25%+ and within a couple of months you'll be pwning the $11s.

yeah your rolled for $5's. I think you are looking at this wrong. Whilst playing the $5's the priority should be on finding a site that has a good sng structure, which suits you style. Then once you have built up the roll, you can bonus whore a little more effectively.

i suggest poker stars for $'5 structure, 9-max, and great blind structure.

UB and Stars would be my suggestions. UB offers $1 + $0.1 SnGs, so that's nice. Stars doesn't offer as great a rake, but if you can deposit when they are running their bonus, all of their tournaments become in essence rake-free (you clear your bonus there at exactly the same rate that you pay rake on tournaments).

Well, I decided to move to PokerStars yesterday, thanks for everyone's advice.

I poked around a bit and then played a $5+.5 and did ok, finished 4th. (I was fiddling around with the settings etc while playing.) I also tried one of the $3+.4 turbo tables. I am not sure I like those at all, but I may give it another try.
