Where to play?

Hey this is my first post, nice to be here. Some brief backround for you all: I've been playing NL Holdem for a year on and off, live cash games. probably 8 or so of those months have been $5 or $10 buy-in games so .1/.2 or .2/.4 structured games. My typical game right now is $20 buyin NL cash game, live. I think I'm pretty good at live games, made maybe $500 in the process of learning and such. Recently I've been on a huge losing tear but that's another story. Now some of my poker budies that I tear to peices at my live game pay tuition from playing online. I dabbled at PartyPoker, made maybe $100, my friend lost it, had to pay me, and I never bothered to buy back in.

So my real question here is, where should a virtual online newbie play? I think I'll buy in $100 or so. Also, would you guys suggest playing NL, Limit, or SnGs?

Try playing all of them (NL/limit/SnGs) and see which you like best. Once you play a bit of each, you'll figure out which you're best at and which you have most fun playing.

I haven't played at that many sites, so I'm not the best person to suggest a site to you. However, when I started playing online poker on a more regular basis, I bought in for $100 and played the $5.50 SnGs at pokerstars. Had a lot of fun and won a decent amount of money. Stars has a lot of micro limit games (ring, SnG, and tourney) so that you can easily stay within your bankroll with your initial $100 deposit.

If you deposit $100 you should be able to try lots of small buyin games so you can see what you like. I've only ever played at 2 sites so I can't offer much of an opinion on that. PStars is good though.

I don't necessarily agree with this.

I've been playing online poker for almost 2 years and I still don't know which one i like best, let alone am best at! (Ok, it's definitely not Limit but YKWIM)
