Default Where did my opponent make a mistake?

So seeing I'm on the BB and I check turn, what do you think my opponent did wrong on the river?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB ($100)
    Hero (BB) ($100)
    UTG ($120.75)
    MP ($104)
    CO ($198.80)
    Button ($100)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6, 3
UTG calls $1, 3 folds, SB calls $0.50, Hero checks

    Flop: ($3) 2, A, 4 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2, UTG calls $2, SB calls $2

    Turn: ($9) 9 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks

    River: ($9) 5 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, 1 fold, SB raises to $21, Hero raises to $97 (All-In), SB calls $76 (All-In)

    Total pot: $203 | Rake: $3

    Results:
SB had 3, 2 (straight, five high).
Hero had 6, 3 (straight, six high).
    Outcome: Hero won $200

Checked river. Your range for checking the turn is usually pretty weak and unlilkely to be able to bet for value or as a bluff on this seemingly blank river card. He's just losing a ton of value by checking as usually river checks through.

Now ship me the $17 prize imo.

I think he should have just called your river bet. I assume he checked river to induce a bluff bet. When villian reraises, he's only getting called by hands which beat or tie him.

he rivered the second nuts oop vs someone who doesn't seem keen to put money in.
He should obviously be betting the river...

he called a garbage hand in the worst possible position where he only has the potential to win a small pot but lose a big one

the blinds have a negative expectation

well, hold on, if he loses 0.4 BB every time he calls here with this hand, then the call could be better than folding and losing 0.5BB from the blind

I'm not saying his call is correct, but just because you're losing money doesn't mean you're playing incorrectly from the blinds

The biggest mistake of opponent was calling off river shove without thinking about hero's range (who has probably nitty image and never ever has worse than stone cold nuts when going for a shove 90bb's to 30bb's pot).

Calling pre is not that bad, but I'd fold there because playing deeo OOP with weak hand just sucks no matter what.

C/c on flop is fishy, I'd lead that flop (and maybe dbl barrel a turned club). Reverse implied odds

    as played, turn looks goot

and I don't know if that river check/raise makes any sense, I'd just lead for pot and made a tight laydown because unraised pots on river play are generally on nitty side.

Call of that 3bet shove was straight up blunder ldo.

Villain did ONE thing wrong. He played a hand with the iopq and got schooled in the arts of poker.

Probably shouldn't have checked the river since you have pretty much one hand that can beat him and are surely C/Behind almost everything else you don't raise form the BB. Going broke in an unraised pot is never a good idea. Most people will not show up in unraised pots w/TPNK for stacks. If your villain this is a bet on the river so a weak A or smaller second pair will call. Don't let someone check behind on the river with the second best hand.

Unless iopq has a high propensity for betting bluffing the river the villain made a big mistake by checking.

Now personally if villain were to bet this river I would shove (because I expect him to call with the one card straight), but had I raised a smaller amount, is this a b/c or b/f on the river?
