Default where is the best place to play?

Just thought since I have been a member for like a week now I thought I would make a post that might get some feed back.

Just wondering where everyone plays and why they play there. Is it the promotions or the games or the tournaments.
I have friends telling me where to play but I want a non biased oppinion.

    Thanks everyone.

Welcome, make sure you read all the beginners digest that can be found here:
    http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...re-123008.html

What game are you playing? what stake? what site are you currently playing?

You can read about poker sites here: Poker Room Reviews | Online Poker Ratings Rankings | Poker Bonus Codes

but ill sum it up basically IMO

    POKERSTARS

    PROS:
    Largest site, great interface

    CONS:
Rakeback isnt too great for mircostakes

    FULL TILT

    PROS:
2nd largest, better Rakeback for micro stakes make sure you sign up for rakeback BEFORE you make a account for full tilt

CONS: dunno i dont play there

    OTHER

    PROS:
may have weaker players, lots of bonus whoring can be done

    CONS:
lot less players, may not work with PT3 or HEM

    hope that helps

i play at pokerstars because it has the largest player pool, the rake is the best i can get seeing as i can't have rakeback on full tilt, the software is good, and it's perhaps the most secure network to do business with. also supports hold'em manager.

another con: potentially dubious depending on where you live, how skeptical you are of online gaming sites. i think FT and PS are defnitely the most reliable sites in terms of $$ security, ease of transactions etc.

also i'm not sure about the rake changes at stars, but not long ago i think stars was better than FT for rake at microstakes even with rakeback on FT. may have changed since then. i'm too ignorant to know.

There's a ton of information that goes into making this decision. If you want to IM me on Yahoo or MSN (I'm [email protected] on both) I'll talk about it with you if you'd like.
