What sort of tells should I be looking for online?

Is it purely betting patterns or is there anything else that I can look out for?

I guess I've moved on from noobie to novice, and would like to keep improving.

Betting patterns like you mentioned (does he slow play made hands, check raise monsters, etc) and classifying players I find are both very helpful. Knowing who is weak tight is very helpful, for instance.
