What range to assign this 2x donk overbet

it's tough to give you an exact range but you can be assured that you have plenty of equity vs. w/e he's doing this wtih.

Mainly draws and spazzy aces imo, think you have way enough equity to snap this - I'm never folding.

Flop is fine, but I'd probably isolate more than I'd over limp pre-flop. By the looks of UTG he's passive and plays a wide range so we can make a profitable iso raise in position and fold out better aces.

Ace somewhat decent kicker is what I put him on. Maybe A10, as it looks like he liked that turn card. With better reads I might put him on pocket 10's but I'd have to know he's passive, likes to call and then turns on when he makes something. Regardless I'm not folding.

Yea I guess you could iso pre, but I don't mind the call. Also, UTG limpers typically have low PPs and don't fold to raises that often so you might be building a larger pot than you want.

I think I would raise the flop more. This player is a donkey and you want the money in as fast as possible. Get it in on the turn when he spazzes out. I wouldn't worry too much about giving him a range here.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about a range. Snap call and if he's played a big hand very badly then don't worry about it but just be sure to take a detailed note obviously.

lol, I look back at this thread today and there's absolutely no way I'm folding in this spot. It's good to see no one else will either.

Thanks for the input guys. I guess I just need to accept that sometimes I'm going to run into the top of their ranges and will have no way of knowing what the true bottom of that range is. I think folding in spots like this vs short fish that take lines which make no sense
actually costs money, and hurts the overall bottom line, even if it didn't work the one time.

Also, I like the suggestion about raising the flop a bit more, since he'll call anyway. I think isolating pre is sort of an on the fence decision. It's probably correct to play the hand either way, though I didn't really have any info on UTG so I just opted to limp behind. Plus I prefer only 1 limper when isolating marginal Ax hands unless the first limper is super weak-tight and just folds to the raise anyway.

Just a quick point Illfavor, I think that if they commonly limp/call low pps, we don't mind building a pot preflop. Reason being they'll generally play fit or fold post flop and our c bets will work a large % of the time, there's so many good boards to c bet and double barrell when people always limp call pps in early position.

If the guy's a total station then yeah limping behind seems good to make use of the implied odds etc and stack him when you make da club floosh.
