Default What do you stars players do with ur FPPs?

Ive been playing exclusively at Pokerstars lately and was wondering what you stars regs have been doing with your points. (I have around 25000 right now)

I used to be getting rakeback at UB, so are you all using points to buy bonusus? I also like the entry to the Sunday million but I dont really have the roll to be playing a $215 tourney. Also, those TV's look sick.

So post what you do with your FPPs.

Yes, book, books, and more books, some Tshirts, sweat shirts, and a few things for the Wife, then I'll probly use them for tourneys.

Best thing to do is to use the FPP to play for a slot in the Sunday Million. If you win a slot, you can use the win as tourney dollars not necessarily for the sunday million. Very profitable...

Could you please explain what you mean by this. I see the ticket for the $215 dollar buy in which is 13500 FPPs. I dont see any qualifier that would alow you to win a "slot" into the Sunday Million.

How's that 26 in.? It looks pretty rad but I almost wanna just wait and get the 32 in. Are you stoked on it?

It's great actually. They didn't have the Sharp at the time so they sent a 26" Samsung. The HD picture is great, I have it mounted on the wall with a swivel arm. The 26" is perfect for the size of the room, but the 32" does look good for another 25,000 points for a different room in the house . For me it will depend on the Federal Regulations passed after the UIGEA, which have not come out yet. No sense in building points if they close the site to US players (although I don't expect that to happen... you never know).

#2. The sunday million SNGs are the way to go. 5,400 FPPs will get you a seat in a 10-man SNG, where the top 4 finishers get entry into the Million MTT. When you win a seat, you unregister for the tournament, and they put the entry fee back into your account: $215.00. Better than any bonus or t-shirt.

They are under tab SNG / Satellite / FPP. Today, there are none listed there...which usually means that there's money added to the Sunday Million.

They have 2-table / 3 table entries and the like for fewer FPPs. For the same 4 seats, me thinks the best expected value is the one-tables.

Hi, I'm a long time lurker. I made this account just to ask this question:

When you order stuff with FPPs and it gets mailed to you... Does the package say anything related to Poker on the front? whether it be Pokerstars or something else?

I want to know if I can order stuff and not have my parents get suspicious about me playing poker...

i get books as well. I don't think the package had "pokerstars" or anything on it like that. In fact if i remember right they come from 3rd party distributor.

btw, for all you high FPP ring players, i recommend getting some good tourney books and switching to the dark side.

I had this problem as well however ordered the EOS Camera (in europe). It seemed to be shipped from a third party supplier and had no poker stuff on it.

Really prying parents may notice there is no invoice , but you can risk that.

Also all the instructions were in french so I had to print them off the web, nice attention to detail Stars.

Is there a certain time frame / conditions for this to happen? All the 10 man SnG like this I see only pay out one seat to the Sunday million, not 4.

The last Sunday of every month, the Sunday million is a higher-stakes tournament, so the 10 man SnG's that are being described, do not take place in the week prior. They're available the rest of the month and they're probably the juiciest on Saturday night and Sunday morning when they're full of donks who actually want to play in the Sunday million. The rest of the week, they're full of good cash game players who are trying to get money for their FPP's.
  22. #22
the only ones i can see cost 6400 fpps... are these the same?

and if you win a ticket to a sunday million tourney can you cash it in for the money value?
    you cant handle the truth!

The bigger the purchase, the more $ you get back for your fpp. Thus, I used 3,000 so far on a hoodie and kemkards, and saving the rest for when I buy a place of my own. I think I can get a bunch of $1,000 gift cards for various stores via the concierge to 'soupe' up the place. My goal is to have ten $1,000 gift cards within two years, I'm one third of the way there.

17,000 fpp gets a ticket to the sunday million, which you can just use as $215 tourny dollars. Unless you wanted to get an ipod already, I think its a good deal. Playing the FPP satelites is offset by some opportunity cost of not playing as many cash tables ;p

really, I thought it would be just like the winning the satelite. I was about to do it today, thank god I didn't.
  30. #30
So we're saying now that the money doesn't get credited to your account...its converted into money that can only be used as tourney entry fees?
  31. #31
Im confused too. Someone please clarify...

holdin -- I know you can play and win a sunday million satelite with FPP, you are given $215 tourney dollars which can be used for any tourney, not just on the sunday million. It is not cash in your account.

however, I had assumed the 17,000fpp sunday million ticket could also be converted to tourney dollars, which mcatdog says is wrong. Have you done this before mcatdog?
  33. #33
mcatdog is correct, you cannot just unregister from the million after you've received a seat via FPPs.

Thank god I didn't just buy it -- I was really close. Looks like I will have to ebay an ipod
  35. #35
I just won a seat to the sunday million through a normal satellite. Im still a little confused about what happens when I unregister....

Do I just get tourney dollars that I can use on any tourney, or do I get cash???
  36. #36
    you get tourney dollars.

however, people buy them off you for 90% of their value. Sell $100 T$ and u get $90 cash. its sometimes more, i duno the rates but thats the idea
  37. #37
Nice! How do you sell them?
  38. #38
i just bought a sicko tv with onecall gift certs, onecall is way better value than getting the tv's that stars has

I've decided to wait until I reach supernova status to buy anything. At that point, I'll withdrawl 100,000 fpp every few weeks for the $1500 bonus.

Nice. This must be a new option because I don't remember seeing it before. Yes, the value from this is much better and you have a wider range of products.
