    Default What do I have?

Alright, I thought this would be kind of fun. Post a hand and let others put a range on the people on what they could have. After a few guesses I'll post the real hand with all the info on it.

Here's the first one. Try and put a range on me and after you do that try and tell what exact cards I have like 26o or 49s.

Be like a scientist - excited and happy when you learn something. Especially if it comes after a failed experiment.

ok appreciated. I think im insecure with JJ. so i raise high because i want everyone to fold and i take the blinds.

Sort of. Taking the blinds are great, but profitable poker players win most of their money by outplaying their opponents postflop. I wish that for every time I raised preflop with JJ that there was one caller, more than one depending on wether or not I flop a set or depending on how bad villains are

Play JJ stronger than TT but a little more passively than QQ, it'll all work itself out.

    BADBEATRICKY calls to -0.5
    POMIQ folds
    ARKADIANROCK raises to 0.09

This confuses me sir. How does he "call to $0.5" at 2nl.. wtf? I'm stumped.

AA, KK, QQ, 88, 22, AK, KQ

Putting you on an exact hand is unnecessary. Why is AQ in his range here?

The only thing that is throwing me this hand is: WTF on that 1/2 pot bet on the turn.

Any of the hands that really make sense seem to have only stayed the same/improved on the turn, but you gave your opponent 3-1 to call.

The snapcall on the turn is the most telling that it's top top, top with a flush draw or a straight draw or better.

AKh, KQ, AJ, AA, KK, 88, QQ. I'll also raise 22 early, but I don't know if that's in a "typical tagg" range.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

I'll discount AhJh because he'll check it back on the turn some of the time

    let's start with sets:
    KK, QQ, 22, 88
    two pair:
    KQ
    one pair:
    AK

those are the most likely hands

    Okay here are the results.

My read on the guy was fish after some time and I honestly couldn't put him on anything. I made a mistake through this hand (probably because I'm still new to poker) and lost the pot.

    ArkadianRock: AKo
    Villain: 22

Also I don't know why it says calls to -.05 or whatever. I used the universal replayer export but you get what it's saying.

you said that youd idn't have a read on him and then...

Ok.. knowing that you have AKo now, and not caring what the villain has. Turn play was horribad.

.20cents is fine for a bet/fold bet, but bet with intention to call shove should be a largish pot sized bet to help make your calling desicion easier.
