I like the way you played this hand, just the right balance between getting value and pot control. By the time your second largish turn bet gets called you have to think there is a significant chance that you are beat. There just aren't many worse hands left that can call.
---Worse hands that make some sense:
TT
KQ -- this hand would make perfect sense
flush draw
JT
---less sense but still possible
AK (pretty iffy)
pairs (calling with a low pair here would be VERY loose)
---Hands that beat you
any 9 (calling PFR discounts likelihood*, ex 99)
AA, KK (likely would have ReR preflop)
QQ (really ? the last two cards left in the deck ?
JJ (ouch that would hurt)
QJ (another gross hand & awfully loose PF )
* do your opps often play deceitful hands like suited conntectors ? BTW I think T9 is one of the better SCs.
---Chop
AQ that hand would make perfect sense
By the time I get to ther river I'm confused. There just aren't that many hands that make sense. When I don't know where I"m at in the hand I often like to check with the thought of calling a reasonable bet.
I don't want to make a big bet on the river with the narrow hope that he has KQ or TT. You got good value on the flop and turn if he does. Time to check.
