What did Johnny Donothing not do?

I did not make this post for a while because I thought it sounded too much like some forced lateral thinking, but I think it's an important concept to internalize.

I'm going to track back a little. When I see a 30/10 c/c, c/c, c AK on Axx x x, against the preflop raiser heads-up, I make a note that reads: 'flat AK pre oop, c/c, c/c, c on Axx x x HU'.
The reason I do this is not so that I can narrow down his checking range, but so I have a better idea what his range looks like when he donks or c/raises.
When I face a donk bet on AT2 by the same player later on, I can significantly reduce his tptk/tpgk/2-pair combos and go from there.
The same applies when you have a note that someone check/called a draw and donked when he hit, and now he c/r a 567 2-tone flop, etc.

Every non-action is as important as every action when you put your opponent on a range.
