Default what action to take on river?

In this hand I raised preflop to iso the limper who was running 54/12 with a fold to cbet% of 50 with the plan of firing pretty much any board.
When I hit the flop pretty hard my intention was to just to value town every street.
My question is when the nine paired on the board this pretty much counterfeits my 2pr if he is holding any Ax type hands so whats the best play on the river b/f,c/c,cf I think c/f would be the worst idea since Kx,Qx are a part of his range. Also were my bets to large since the bb came along flatting my pfr? His stats were similer 40/5 over 100 sorry I cant convert yet and im getseek in below example

Bet/fold, definitely, always in spots like this.

If he has Ax then yeah, you're beat, but the best way to find out is to bet and fold if he raises. If you check and show weakness and he bets than you're completely in the dark as to what he has. And think, if your putting him on Ax, Kx, or Qx, then 2 out of 3 times your ahead. He also could have Jx for all we know and missed his draw. Ax and J10 are the only hands in his range that have you beat here.

What I found useful in these situations where you really don't want to bet is to just ask yourself how much you would call and then bet that amount. It's always best to be forcing villain to make decisions.

I don't think your bets were too large. You had two pair against a big blind and limper with high VPIP's so most of the time you're in good shape and want to get max value while also denying them odds to draw.

^ I think, but I'm fairly new to this as well.

These videos were on another thread in this forum: 101 series full ring

They come highly recommended...turned me from a consistent loser to a consistent winner at 2NL

    Flop: ($0.26) A, Q, K (3 players)
Hero bets $0.13, BB calls $0.13, 1 fold

    Turn: ($0.52) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.26, BB calls $0.26

    River: ($1.04) 9 (2 players)

    Hero?

The nines on the board doesn't counterfeit your two pair, just makes it more likely that someone has trips or better.
What sort of agression had these two been showing?
Are they a couple of stations?
Bet the flop bigger...like $0.22 to $0.28. That forces them to chase any draws at the wrong odds.
If they call that then I'd fire one more ott of about 3/4 pot size, and then b/f river at about 1/3 to 1/2 psb leaning toward 1/3 to make it look like a suck bet.

As played, I'd b/c river at about $0.75.

    Bet flop more.
    Bet turn more.
c/f river, unless you think he has the balls to bluff with a missed draw, in which case block bet $0.35 or so. If he is not likely to bluff the river, why bet? Any A he holds beats you, and he is not paying your bet with his missed draws or Kx crap.
