But ripptyde, if he played it that way, he has conflicting reads. If its a blind steal he reads a weak hand and should re-raise him off, but if he reads jacks it's not a blind steal and should fold preflop becuase he's behind.


Even if his read was right on the money (JJ) the stacks are only 17 and 20BB which hardly justifies trying to play catch-up post flop (unless you also count flops where you can "rep the ace" which would be difficult becuase you limp-called preflop.)
