Default Waiting before making an action

Does the time taken to make a decision impact other players' reactions to your move? For example, would an insta-push with the nuts be less likely to be called than waiting a few moments, then pushing? This is online, by the way.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

It might, but if you're a multi-tabler then it doesn't really mean anything.

Tanking for a little while like you're counting your outs or something before you push can get you calls though.

yeah i agree, something i find that works well is when you are betting pretty quickly on the flop and turn in position and someone is calling you, and then on the river i find if i take a good amount of time to think like i'm not sure what to do, i am more likely to get called. however i think if you wait really long then they are more likely to fold.
