Just sat down with no reads on villain.

Hand 1 - I kept firing and on the river the flush completed. I was thinking of check calling but would this be the right play?

Hand 2 - Didn't want to force any extra action since I couldn't even beat AQ

First hand is fine I think, I probably bet a little less on the turn but what ever. Anyway the flush came on the river and so did a gutshot, I dunno how dumb your villain is but the could potentially have either. That being said I check call a medium sized bet.

Hand two is a super easy fold. Nobody minraise bluffs here. I like what you did so far in the hand, but this guy has you beat so bad here imo.

Hi! I'd shoot out another bullet. I mean what is his range? J10C? 910C? Why did he call your raise in the beginning? He's UTG and calling without a monster overpair? The only hand you should be worried about is AA, maybe QQ. Why didn't he reraise you with QQ, why didn't he shove all in?

The flush possibility is farthest from my mind, but you really have no read on this guy-- so what can you do?--See his hand, and get ready to read everyone; I think its better to sit through a round of blinds before you play to know your villains a bit more.

Second hand, I have less experience than animal, so I won't say my advice is correct. but I wouldn't have raised his bet of $.04. You said something about you not being able to beat AQ. What does that mean? Are you seen as a weak player in the previous hand? Someone to be pushed around?

I played in a live casino at Orleans here in Vegas a week ago, and it was the same position. Flop comes 33Q. I had bet preflop with pocket 7s. A friendly Scottish TAG player I had just befriended raises a good sizable amount against me, and I reraised him flat. He mutters disgusted and tosses his fishhooks into the water, and I slowly drop my hockey sticks facedown and take the penalties...

I really don't know.. Jacks are so hard to play but I'd like to see your Js for cheaper with just calling 4, instead of reraising. The villain could have very well been me, with the pocket 7s, and the longer you stay in the hand, the more uncomfortable the villain would get.

His range is straights/flushes a lot here because this is micro stakes and people play bad. Throw out a buck as a blocking bet and fold if raised.

and you don't even have ODDS to draw to a set vs. a bigger pair

hand 1 - fold if raised? aren't i so pot committed anyways? also how was my bet sizing on the flop/turn?
