Default Two pair on flop in difficult spot

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop | saw showdown

    SB ($2.90)
    BB ($120.95)
    UTG ($10.10)
    MP ($27.85)
    Hero (Button) ($54.20)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3, A
UTG calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1.25, 1 fold, BB calls $1, 1 fold

    Flop: ($2.85) A, 6, 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2, BB raises to $8.85, Hero raises to $23, BB raises to $119.70 (All-In), Hero calls $29.95 (All-In)

    Turn: ($108.75) 6 (2 players, 2 all-in)

    River: ($108.75) 2 (2 players, 2 all-in)

    Total pot: $108.75 | Rake: $3

I'm not sure whether stacking off with two pair is the correct play, especially since we're so deep stacked. Villain seemed to limp a lot and raise little, so I didn't put him on much of a hand - something like an ace and good kicker. I usually play FR (and this was a full ring table) and since a few players left the table in this orbit I've not left yet.

I don't have experience short handed and I was wondering if anyone here with experience shorthanded would play this differently?

this is where the important decision is. Talk about your options, and what they mean.
also, don't post the turn and river cards - it will influence the advice you receive

From what you've seen from him so far: Do you think he will stack off here 200bb deep with AQ, AK?
Usually a 400bb+ stack is indicative of a LAGG player who's running hot, and he probably has been involved in a couple of big pots. What did he reraise with and call with in these hands?
The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

Just experience. A 4x the max buy-in stack is very rarely a tight player.

yep, but this is probably a 200bb max buyin table. This is often (usually?) a moderately solid and tight player.

daven has it correct. I occasionally play 200bb buyin tables.

I've never noticed this.. I've been 400bb+ a fair amount and I play 13/11. I just don't think you can really make an assumption like that (but I could be wrong).

    ...Good Question........Where am I?
I was just at a table with 370BB's. sat for a little while. I just stacked some donk twice in a row. and I am pretty much a nit.

I am learning at NL25 too, and personnaly I feel much more confident when playing 100bb deep. It eases this kind of decision and makes hand planning easier.

    that's my two cents anyway!

i think the lower the stake the more true this becomes.

I don't hate flatting his check/raise to get it in on a good turn card. I don't hate getting it in either. What'cha know about him?

    Probably just a cooler.
