Default Turbo's vs. regular sit and go's

I have never played a turbo sit and go and i wanted to know what the difference was between them and regular sit and go's. Is one better than the other or are they just different?

    the turbos are faster.

the turbos at Pstars are between the PP SNGs and Pstars normals speed wise

The turbos shift the focus of the play from a mix of pre-flop/postflop play to a more preflop-centered game.

At Poker Stars the game is not actually faster as someone said. The blinds simply get higher at a faster rate.

The Blinds go up in 1/2 the normal allotted number of rounds.[/i]
Been playing money poker for 34 years and decided in 2002 to try that TX Holdem game on TV. Then found Pokerstars in Summer 2005. Still not an overall winner but i am on a good trend and nearly there.

as a result of the fact that the blind increase faster it means that the Sng ends quicker - they are usually about 40 min as opposed to 60-90 of regular Sngs.
You have to take more risks and play a bit looser

Actually, the Stars Turbo's only allow 1/2 the "thinking time" that is allowed at the normal tables. There may be differences in how long it takes to time out disconnected players as well (but I'm completely unsure if that's the case or not).
    I run a training site...

Check out strategy videos at GrinderSchool.com, from $10 / month.

That is the case. Normal = 60 second timeout, Turbo = 30 second timeout

    But yet backwards.

Party is slower early but faster later. Stars Turbos are faster early and slower later.
