    Default TPGK facing turn raise

Hey guys... hoping I could get your thoughts on a hand from today:

Villain was 14/13 over 56 hands here, hadn't seen him get particularly out of line before this. My question about this hand is it seems like the majority of hands that hit this board are hands he would be 3betting pre... AA, QQ, AK, AQ. But when he raises this turn it doesn't seem like there's many other hands that he could be doing that with here, spades don't make sense and there aren't really other draws, so that just leaves sets and top pair type hands, which makes me think that maybe this is just a take a note spot so I know whether he's capable of flatting hands that hit this board. Bottom line is I ended up feeling really lost here as far as what kind of range I should be putting him on and wasn't at all sure where I was at. Thoughts?

    4 Players

    Stacks:
    CO ($4.11)
    BTN ($1.83)
    Hero ($2)
    BB ($2.27)

    Pre-Flop: ($0.03, 4 players) Hero is SB
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, BB calls $0.06

    Flop: ($0.16, 2 players)
Hero bets $0.12, BB calls $0.12

    Turn: ($0.40, 2 players)
Hero bets $0.26, BB raises to $0.52, $0.26 to Hero ($1.54)?

Guy is 14/13 If this is 6-max this seems very tight, so it already smells funny when he calls pre instead of reraising. As often in BvB situations, a lot depends on the history of the table. What is you image a this stage in the game? Have you seen him defend his blinds like that before? Have you been stealing from him a lot before? Have you seen him making min raises like these post flop? How aggressive is he post flop?

Hard to put him on a hand that you beat, his min raise is screaming for a call, more money in the pot and the correct pot size to stack off on the river. Also hard to fold also with odds like these, but if your guts say you are beat, why call... Calling really depends on your opp's style , your image and your history.

bet more on the turn i guess id probably fold to the raise, FD's would be more likely to raise the flop same with like KJ JT KT if hes the type to raise gutshots...so id def lean towards folding to his gay raise

but def bet more on turn to get value from Ax and XsXs

Another question is whether he has shown down after 3-betting before, and if so, what he had.

And wrt image, has he given any indication that he has one of you and/or anyone else? Quite a few players at this level don't, so factoring image into your decision-making isn't always a good thing to do.

Also, even with seemingly attractive pot odds, if he has you beat, how many outs are you likely to have? With only one pull left, if you're trying to catch a 2- or 3-outer, calling doesn't look so good.

what 3bet? and obviously if he is behind all he can do is pull a 2 or 3 outter -___- cause hes either going to be against AK (drawing to 3 outs) AQ (drawing dead) A7 (drawing to 3 outs) Sets (drawing dead)

Sorry, yeah this is 6 max so he was pretty tight. Not a whole lot to say about my image, I was running around 22/20 playing very ABC not bluffing a whole lot, stealing a fair amount but not enough that it would be noticeable or that he would open up his range against me at all. And he was pretty similar, hadn't seen him do anything like this before as far as defending his blinds or postflop play.

but def bet more on turn to get value from Ax and XsXs
Yeah my standard bet sizing here is bigger I probably would have gone 0.14 on the flop and then like 0.4 on the turn as a value line if I had AK in this spot, I think I was subconsciously trying to keep the pot small because I was afraid of AK/AQ.

As far as pot odds goes regardless it feels like a fold... feels like I'm significantly behind here and calling this turn I have no initiative or plan or anything really going to the river and it seems likely that I'll end up in a really gross spot.

Edit: No info on his 3bet tendencies haven't seen any showdowns

    Thanks!
