pretty bad, you should either be folding to the flop 3b or snapping the turn shove.

what are his tendencies when it folds to him in the SB and his steal stats? I'd have suspected him blindstealing and defended in this case by raising him to 2.25 if he had high steal stats.

Seems like I forgot to add the fraction bet to pot size, durrr.

I still can't make up my mind about this hand. Part of me wanted to snapcall his shove but his 3bet esp over my large raise just seemed so strong. Forgot to mention that he raises flops only 2.5% of the time (120 hands). Since he's relatively passive he'd probably just flat with lower 2pr... the only other hand I beat that he'd possibly be doing this with would be AA.

He wasn't particularly steal-happy (25% att to steal). He'd be more inclined to limp his mediocre hands than raise in SB.

Why did you raise the flop?

looks like an easy call as it is, leave alone if you throw some combos of ak in there

shove or fold to flop 3b.

and if you're going to call flop 3b, then FFS don't fold on this turn

the 4s is the most benign card possible. Snap call the turn if you called the flop. Also.... what the shit @ you not including AQ and AK in his range at all?

Thought I'd raise for value and have a bunch of worse hands in his range call tbh. I may have chosen to flat against a solid, thinking player though.


One thing I obviously didn't do prior to my raise was make a plan as to what I'd do if he 3bet, so based on that alone I probably should've just called. It's obvious to me now that once I made the call I was committed and should have gone all the way.



I'm here to learn so I always appreciate any further insight into the rights and wrongs of my thought process.
