So I started off with no tools and was doing pretty well... then I got Poker Tracker and I started losing. Yeah, sample size, yadda yadda, but I still quit trying to use it for live play and I've been inching my bankroll back up. I know it definitely has value to me for evaluating my play after sessions, but I'm not confident about using it during. Should I try and use it again and see how things shake out in the long haul, or do you think I should stick to what seems to be working?

Also unfortunately Absolute Poker doesn't seem to work right with the Game Time window so I have to input names manually. I'm sure that distraction doesn't help, but I think the real problem may have been that I wasn't respecting opponents.... or I could have just had a bad run of luck that coincidentally lined up with my use of PT.

So what are your recommendations for tools and live play?
