    Default Tilt logic?

I play in this b&m 1/2 nl side game on tuesday nights. It's a fairly soft game, with players that I win with consistantly in other settings, yet every week is the same thing, I am tired after a long day, and I play like garbage. Twice I called an AI when I was sure I was beat. It was like part of me just wanted to go to sleep (as hard as that is when I knew I played like crap).

Tuesday is a long day for me, but it seems I should be capping it off with a good game. How do you guys get in the mindset to play poker after a long day? Is the only logical move to stop playing that game?

    Don't play when you're tired...

try to only play when the game is good and you feel good.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

    you ever done any sport?
If you havent this is difficult.
I always get pumped before i play, get the adrenaline and brain running at top speed.
It doesnt give me the arrogant 'i can do anything attitude' it instead makes me wide awake to all oppertunites.
I like to be positive before i start.
After all chance favours the prepared mind
now which film did i see that in ?

If you can't play right. Don't. It's mental and you're letting yourself slip. Snap out of it or don't play.
