    Daven: I agree...fold pre does make money. Here he's been so aggressive during the last orbit that I decided to take a stand with ATC and got a decent flop. Normally I just dump it. Had the flop been a brick I would not have continued.

    All: I was thinking that this was one of the situations that the only hands that'll call a shove on the river would be better hands and he'd drop everything else. Wouldn't I possibly be losing a bet or two from him if I led with a shove where a c/r could get his whole stack?

    don't use faulty reasoning to play badly. This is especially bad if your only plan for winning the hand was two pair ++

    fish love calling. fish like to check back rivers sometimes. fish hate folding weak made hands for a < pot-sized bet. Fish in this spot has < pot behind. Bet is better. Especially when he's on a roll putting money in every street.
