The only possible answer is "it depends". Against someone who calls a lot of 3bets with worse you can 3bet it, against someone who opens a lot worse but folds to 3bets a lot you can call with it.
You've also got to consider the BB and their tendencies, will they cold call IP then station you down with a small pocket pair when you don't improve? Will they 4bet squeeze? Will they fold dominated hands to a 3bet that they would otherwise have called with?
There's a lot of variables - in general, I'd advise being quite tight from the SB because you're in the worst possible position, but ATo is often going to be on the borderline of hands you might call with, so you've really got to weigh up the various factors.
