I recently moved from 2NL up to 5NL. I have been actively trying to be more selective with choosing tables.

I try to avoid:
Regs playing 10+ tables (if they are winning players)
Maniacs that shove AIPF with ATC (they tend to be luckier than me)

I look for:
High Vpip
Large average pot size

However, I am in a rut. When I sit down, its normally about 20+ hands before I win a pot other than just blinds. About 30 hands after I sit down the whole table is changed over to nothing but nitty regs.

1. Should I not be avoiding the nitty regs playing 15-20 tables? (how can I exploit them more)
2. What things are really important with looking for tables?
3. Are there better times of the day to find good tables?
