I understand the thought of doubling up, but it can also go the other way. I always start with the typical buy in for that table. 2 situations happened to me today, where if I were playing with a larger amount I would have lost a ton. Both times lost to bad beats on the river, I'm talking like 2 outs each time, and they hit them. So instead up being really pissed about losing a decent chunk of change, I just reloaded, knowing I'd win it right back, and I did. Losing that much didn't put me on tilt.
