Happens even more often in limit. Villain wants to see the turn, just in case his 2 outer comes in. I'm guilty of it against particularly donkish lagtards, but I don't know how many times I've seen a weak Ax cold caller take down a KK or QQ.

Now, Queens with a King on the flop, or Jacks with a Queen on the flop, that is a different story and altogether much more complex. But so many people will call preflop with any ace - especially in LHE - that an ace flop is time to fold that KK 99% of the time. Unless of course you hit your set
