I am wondering if suited connectors are a good hand to try and steal blinds with. Likewise would it be good with suited, gapped connectors?
for example 45s and 46s?
If shortstack goes over the top... say about 1/3 to 1/2 your stack, should you call?

This is going to look like a really shitty trolling answer, but: www.pokerstove.com. Have a play around with your opponent's ranges to see at what point it becomes profitable to call given particular pot odds. |

Short answer: yes. It gets tricky when you get raised. |

it can be profitable from the c/o btn, I would not call a ss'ed rr. |

I make a lot of steals and post flop rapes with suited connectors. I say go for it. |

Alot depends on your table image. If you've shown down with nice hands then you should be ok to steal with SC. Just remember that if you get a caller, you may need to make a continueation bet in order to win the pot. | |

Yes, in my opinion stealing the blinds with 2 middle cards in your hand is a nice move. If in late position I'll steal with all types of hands like 87s, 76o, 86s, and 54o. But, just like any move, make sure you don't go to the well to often. Also not a good idea to steal against short stacks. This move is so profitable at times because if you nail a flop you can get paid by a guy putting you on two big ones. Say you raise with 86s and you get a flop of 6 6 2. If you get checked to and lead out you may get a raise from a player who is putting you on AK, KQ etc. |
