    Default Story and few questions

    Hi,

Here is a bit my backgorund... i first started with play money for a while, and i was reading ftr at same time.
I first started by depositing 20$. I gone up 120$, went to high stake and gone bust KK vs AA. Then i did few more deposit and always ended same ways(mostly gone bust on 25 NL due to bad beats or bad plays). I finally realized that what is said on FTR about bankroll management is more important than i thought.

I am currently 3 tabling(i loose focus with 4) 10 NL@9 players PokerStars and i have had some very nice sucess for the past 10 hours, making around 5$ an hour platying tight agressive(and when i say agressive, i never slow play, i just shoot pot sized bets whenever i got great hand).

    My question is:
#1 Once i be ready for 25 NL(450 BR), should i stick to stars or go to party if my objective is to make money? basicelly is stars 25 NL fishy or not

same questions for 50 NL and 100 NL

#2 Also, Stars often offers deposit bonus on different occasions, i was wondering if its possible to simply cash out ur whole BR and then cash it in to actually get that bonus.

#3 Lastly, is the difference in income very different from 10 Nl and 25 NL? 10 Nl has a lot of fish so when u get AA, its often auto money. Im wondering if the move from 10 NL to 25 Nl will modify the income by 250% like it should or if it only be like 150% due to the increasing ammount of sharks.

    Thanks for replies

Once your br is built up a bit you should def whore some sites (Party and skins and Prima skins).

Yes but is party really worth it compared to stars? I like stars a lot, but where the money is is where i want to go hehe

I think i have learned enough to be able to win a lot at low stakes, and playing sharks won't be useful until i go even more serious about poker(not until a while).

I just play basic ABC poker, tight agressive style. (i still bluff but only with strong reads...basicelly i wont try to push off someone off his TPTK since its almost impossible, but i will often push them off their second pair, i also continuation bet all the time).

There are alot fish at any site. The trick is to find the table with the right mix of players.

Too many fish= a bad beat story saga.

Too many sharks= no pay off on your big hands.

Table selection is the KEY. NOT site selection.

Once you have built up your roll to a sizable amount open a netteller and/or firepay account. Then You should leave a portion of your BR in your "cyber wallet" and when those bonuses become available you will be able to capitalize on them with out the worry of moving money around.

Lastly, if you continue to play a Tag style (ABC poker is the best) you can continue to move up slowly in stakes. Just take your time and you will do fine.
    Just my opinion (and I'm probably wrong) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Your sample size (10 hours) is way too small for you to draw any concluision about your ability to beat even low stake game.
I may be totally wrong but it seems you are thinking about building the top floor before you have the foundations of the build ready.
Focus more about improving your game, eliminating leaks that you may have (just because you make money does not mean you are leak-free), and building your bankroll.

Changing stakes will come naturally as the bankroll increases.
Search the site for table selection posts about which tables are best to play in

Just to answer the bonus part: once you withdraw money from your account in the bonus period, you lose your eligibility for the bonus. What you can do though, is put in some more money to get the bonus, then take it back out. That does work.
