Staresy's FTR invitational

All,

Just for the sake of hitting 2,000 FPP’s this weekend, I thought I would take advantage by issuing an open invite to a $10+1 NLHE tournament on Sunday 19 March to my friends and foes at FTR.

I haven’t actually set it up yet, coz I want to make sure there is sufficient interest first. Therefore, in a vain attempt to do so, I will even offer up a $20 bounty on myself – and I’m terrible (see my location!), so anyone can take it down!!

why?

1. Errr, to play poker!
2. Earn money
3. Earn bounty
4. It’s a good chance for some of the n00bs who missed the Gauntlet to get involved directly with fellow FTRers and see what awaits them next season.
5. Bragging rights

n.b. I am open to suggestions if people prefer another time – so long as people also bear in mind the allowances for us on this side of the Atlantic!

I’ll set it up tonight and give it ‘til Thursday/Friday before I decide whether to proceed.

If people wanted to as well, they can all e-mail me the HH’s afterwards and maybe post some of the more interesting hands and let people explain their thinking behind each move.

Sounds great. I played in my first Gauntlet tourney a few weeks back, but I got in late in season 3 so I only just got my feet wet. This sounds like fun - count me in.

Well I think Im gona start playing 10NL at Stars so... if I make an extra ten bucks by Sunday Ill play. Its a shame I havent played in a FTR tourney yet.
