i was playing severely tight, playing only pocket pairs and AK,AQ,etc. like alot of you guys said i should play. Ring game $1/3NL 100max buyin.

so i was dealt 99, and i raise to $12, and i get 2 callers. both the callers are very loose players. the flop comes 8-5-9 with two spades. both players check to me, and i dont want to show strength on such a weak flop, so i check. turn in another 5. i got the 2nd nuts only behind pocket 5's. both players check and as do I. river is a 3 of spades, so there are 3 spades on the board. first players bets $20, and the 2nd player pushes allin with like $55. and i wait about a minute and raise allin for $110, the 1st raiser calls and flips over his flush, 2nd raiser shows like pocket jacks. i turn over my boat, and the table goes like crazy asking me why i didnt bet the flop or turn, and it made me realize my table was full of retards.
dave takes down like $290.

1.) did i play this wrong? i believe i played it right, but what would you guys have done?

hand #2)
like i said, i was playing tight, i'm finally dealt AA in EP, and i raise to $20 and i get 2 callers. 1 caller is chip leader with about $700. flop comes TT4 rainbow, and i bet $20 and chip leader raises to $40, and 3rd palyer instafolds. and i raise all-in. and he calls instantly and flips over 10-6 offsuit... so thats how i went bust.

2.) I KNOW I PLAYED this wrong, but where did i go wrong at, betting the flop so big? i put him on like QQ because $20 was a bigger raise PF on this table.
3.) could i have avoided him in anyway preflop, or was he gonna call anyways, even with a big raise preflop?
4.) did i overplay aces?

the whole night i played tight and i think i played damn good except for my misread with my last hand.

thanx for readin'
