So how do you extract when you flop the absolute nuts?
So when you flop the absolute nuts, and you're playing against players who aren't necessarily super-loose, what's the best way to go about extracting money? I can't even count how many times I've flopped a monster hand only to get next to nothing out of it, and I always wind up scratching my head and second guessing the way I play. Sure, sometimes you just can't get anything out of people when there's a scary board, but as for general advice, should you check the river hoping for a bet? If you don't get one, should you check the turn too? If you don't get one should you bet the river?
Let's assume there's no reads on your opponents. So far my strategy has been to either bet half the pot and hope somebody caught something, or check the flop and the turn hoping for something, and if I don't get anything then I bet something modest on the river that makes it look like I'm trying to steal the pot.
