Default sick hand, kings full of jacks vs. ?royal flush?

I'm pretty sure I played this hand like crap.

I was betting light on the flop and turn b/c at the time I figured "oh this is a scary flop, he's probably going to fold a lot, so I'll bet small b/c I want to get called"

But then I realized the villian is 18/4 and this flop hit a large part of his range, and he has no idea I have a hand like a set of Kings right now cause all that happened PF was a 3xbb raise from MP.

I bet so large on the river cause I figured its most likely he has an ace and made his straight and is going to call pretty much anything.

When he went all in I called b/c I knew he'd be doing that with any Ace most likely.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed)
    UTG+1 ($1.97)
    Hero (MP1) ($2.75)
    MP2 ($2.09)
    CO ($1.51)
    Button ($2)
    SB ($3.06)
    BB ($2.14)
    UTG ($1.95)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K , K
    2 folds, Hero bets $0.06, MP2 calls $0.06, 4 folds

    Flop: ($0.15) K , J , Q (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.04, MP2 calls $0.04

    Turn: ($0.23) J (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.14, MP2 calls $0.14

    River: ($0.51) 10 (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.66, MP2 raises to $1.85 (All-In), Hero calls $1.19

    Total pot: $4.21 | Rake: $0.28

How many hands do you have for his stats?

What range of hands did you put him on?

I think you should bet atleast 1/2 pot on flop. Anything that is going to fold to that is also going to fold to your .04c bet.
As played, I'm not folding anything here on the river.

bet flop bigger because you can get value from 2 pair, lower sets, draws.

pot the turn because this is your money card and he's probably not folding anything he called flop with.

As played, I think this river is a fold. He can shove As and 9s, and I don't really see what he's shoving besides those hands. I doubt he's ever shoving with a bare ace. I doubt he's shoving with 8s or lower. He might shove a worse FH than yours, but don't you think that hand would have raised at some point before the river? I would probably b/f river ~0.25

i raise it to at least 4bb preflop at 2nl because my opening range is typically quite strong, and people call far too wide, and probably don't differentiate much between 3bb opens and 5-6bb opens.

pot the flop because it's wet as hell, meaning your opponent's calling range will often have decent equity against your hand, hence you want to bet more to charge them/get value. also, even if you did get outflopped here (very rare because he can only really have 9 or ten Ace-high flushes and perhaps some other raggedy ones. but the board blocks a lot flushes he could have), you still have ~30% equity against ANY hand except ATss, and T9ss. so get some value

pot the turn because there are only 3 possible two-card combinations he could have that beat you, and many many more that you beat in his range which don't fold, thus we get heaps of value from his calling range, and build the pot so as to be able to get more value on all but two river cards.

as played, this river completely sucks. i don't even think we can vbet here as our opponent probably folds all hands weaker than trips, and there aren't many full houses he can have (except JT). so his range is basically straight and royal flushes.

I feel like locking this. But really bet more on flop and bet more on turn.

That's an action flop. If they call a small bet on that flop, they'll call a big bet. And you have to charge draws.
