I'm really getting into playing tournament Hold'Em and am having some good success lately. The hand below is on the final table of a $12, 180-player SNG @ PS. I finished 3rd for $236 which is nice, but this hand has been tormenting me since last night so I thought I'd post here for some expert advice as I am really inexperienced at MTT play and just trying to learn from my mistakes.

(sorry I can't post the pretty version as I don't have 10 posts yet).

Flop: (t167082) Tc, 8c, 9d (2 players)

Turn: (t167082) 8h (2 players)

Final Pot: t167082

Results below:
Hero has Qs Qd (two pair, queens and eights).
SB has As Jh (two pair, aces and eights).
Outcome: SB wins t167082.

Would the better play been to simply have called his pre-flop reraise, and then shove on a flop with no A/K? Would he have called anyway with the OESD?

Thanks
