    To answer the original post, yes, and definitely.

    I play a live "home game" twice a week, usually 10-18 deep and we play either $10 freeze-out or $20+R+A up til the first break.

    These games are butter. Tax, tax, tax, and when they start betting, fold. EZ mode.

    The BEST player there (whom I would categorize as mediocre at best...he reads people well, but that's about it) cannot calculate pot odds, and bragged to me that he's never read a poker book.

    Perfect.
