Shortstack Ninja

So I cashed in 3 quarter rolls (I shit you not) and snuck $30 onto Party. I decided to split it into $10 rolls and play shortie/aggro... and its WORKING!

Now obviously I hit a pretty great run of hole cards and of them hitting, but in the past hour, not SO many more than I can just say I'm getting ultra lucky.

Focus: The mantra is, buy in full (100 BBs) so you can get paid in full for your monsters. But, I'm not getting monsters any more or less frequently than I ever do (over the 1.5 hour course of action), and yet unlike usual, I'm getting paid for them, and is it only because I'm the shortstack? How viable a playstyle is this? Can this hold up over the long run?

also: Would anyone have played the A10 top 2 hand softer? I didn't want any cheap hearts but felt handcuffed because of the stupid limp.

basically there's higher variance short stacking, and there's very little point at lower stakes when you're pretty much guaranteed to have a big big edge on the other players with a full stack.

So it's basically you're opinion that were I to play with a full stack (assuming it was actually in my account for the sake of argument) I'd have hit ~120 profit instead of ~60?

At least so far (almost 3 hours in) I feel like when I hit big people are going to pay me off because "oh, it's just another $4. just another $6", etc. As opposed to usual when I'm like "wonder if he'll fold the flop or the turn to my set".

Note that I've never done this before so I'm putting it out there for opinions and commentary.

I never said I *needed* to (other than the $30 bankroll which is a whole 'nother story) but that wasn't the point of the post -- any time I hit a monster, I got paid, unlike the 1 in 3ish times I get with a full stack.

I know what the conventional wisdom is, I was trying to raise this as a discussion point as maybe a counterpoint for people playing at "rock" times against rocky players.
