    Default Sets on monotone flops

How do we proceed with sets on monotone flops? I often find myself flatting a 3bet on the flop and then getting it in on a safe turn. Is this better than just shipping it in on the flop and hoping villain only has a FD and/or the board pairs?

You have to figure the the 25rr on the flop was for value, but at that point you're getting better than the 2-1 you need to make a call BE.

Go nuts, have fun, good luck.

Why don't you flat his minraise? The only worse hand he calls a 3b with is 33. He might decide to get it in with AhAs or something, but he flats your flop bet with that hand a lot.
You're definitely not getting a call from Ahxo except for maybe Ah9c or some crap

basically, when you 3b you narrow his range down to hands that beat you + like half a dozen other hands

it's a 13 dollar pot on the turn with 18 behind so if he shoves the turn you should probably fold if the flush hits
but if the board pairs you can donk the turn and he's paying you off with a flush

Shipping is fine. AHxo probably is not getting away from this, Ah any pair is getting it in. Overpairs with a heart are getting it in. Over/under set gets it in, you're crushing/being crushed on equal terms. You're behind a flush, but you've still got a lot of equity. Ship all day long.
If you planned to "suck out" you did the first half.
