Session Length

I never really got into ring because I would never know when to stop. I would keep playing until I lost my buy-in or got too tired to play (usually at like 2-3 am.)

How long do most of you usually play? Also- how many times per week?

I usually play 1-2 hour sessions about 3 times a week if I'm lucky. I feel alot better when I do get the odd chance to play a 4-5 hour session though. If I had it my way, I'd be playing 4 sessions a week for 4-5 hours each. If it matters, that's 6-8 tabling FR.

i usually play 2 - 1 1/2 hr sessions a night, 3 times a week.

4-6 hr sessions six days per week for me

90 mins, smoke, hour, food, TV, 90 mins, smoke, 90 mins is my general ritual.


Problems - the games get crap after midnight, I like to see the sun during the daytime, I'm nocturnal so when I'm at my best all the fish have gone to bed.


How long is everyone's brainfreeze threshold (How long does it take before you find yourself playing bad on autopilot)? for me it's about 3 hours and then my mind starts sparking out.

I usually play for 1-2 hours, occasionally 3. On weekends, I'll put in 5-6 hours sometimes, but then I start getting frisky.

It varies, but the vast majority of my sessions are 3-5 hours.

I have a weird schedule so the number of days and whatnot I play changes nearly every week, but I play at least 25-30 hours a week usually.
