SC's, IP, hit flush on turn.

Very early in session, within first 10 hands.

Villain seemed fairly LAG, a lot of limp/calling and check raising.

Only a very small sample, 12 hands worth. Villain was 59/18 with a 0% cbet. Limped 64% of the time and called a raise after he had limped 80% of the time. Had also seen him 4bet shove with A2s

Am I beat here? I hate the min raise, always seems fishy to me. Like they desperately want a call.

Why are you in this situation? It's 2NL. Ditch the fancy slowplay and make a solid raise on the flop. Think how many cards might come on the turn that either put you in doubt or kill your action.

It would also be more straightforward to fold pre-.

I'm not sure I like this iso from MP, too many people behind at 2nl, we're gonna find ourselves in tricky spots a lot.

Turn is puke. vs a comptetent player I can happily fold this, but vs someone who 4bet shoves A2, I'm thinking he can have A4 here, Jx, Ad... fuck knows. I'm lost tbh. Guess I call so he can fire river wider than he is when he continues to a raise.

Need more info. on main villain plus other villains behind you PF. Need to know more than the PF read of he likes to limp/call, c/r stuff but that's a start. It's going to be pretty difficult to play weakish hands against someone who doesn't fold preflop unless he folds a lot postflop. Our read suggests otherwise. Then throw in the other villains...

Idk if I raise flop cause we're going to bloat pot with a few to act after us/leaving us firing into a huge pot with air the times we miss and not getting enough folds...I could be way off base with that assumption. As played I'm not folding the turn. You hit EXACTLY what you'd hoped for after your flop call? I'm jamming here you're both pot comitted and any fourth river diamond kills your action. Ez jam imo? PREFLOP I think is fine; I'm sure KMIND is a better player(Positive actually) but I think a fold PF is way nitty esp in CO position. It feels like villian is a fish and is probably stacking off with worse, yet if you weren't comitted why did you even bet the turn? You've put in over 10% of your stack now and should have a comitment decision before betting; yet you hit what you'd hoped for and are still unsure? I think it's a shove.

Once BB calls too I think there's like plenty of dead money in the pot? Also you said UTG loves c/r so it's not like he's always got the flush here.

I am unsure because of the min raise, that's what throws me off.

pre is fine, limping behind would be ok too. Don't fold in position vs a 60-20 with playable cards.

I would jam i think you are getting called by a lot of 4's and pairs with a big diamond. The utg limper i think will limp pre with J4 Q4 K4 A4 and will raise these on the turn J4 being the only boated hand, 6 combos of boats for utg and 24 combos or trips and possibly more if he called with 46 45 etc. also i don't think the BB will check 99 on the turn when the board pairs and the obvious draw came in, he more likely to do this with Jx hands check calling top pair with a KQA of diamonds kicker in his hand, without a specific read that tells me i'm beat here i'm jamming, you could even get called by 2 worse hands.

Turn is meh. Villain has a lot more flushes in his range than he does 4x, so I don't like jamming. So there are two options: call/decide river or fold. I'd probably end up folding this early in the sesh because I'd think that villain would be nutted when he x/mr vs into 2 players on a super wet board like this. He's probably not x/r all his 4x here. I mean sure he could be doing this with his Ad9x hands, but we have 12 hands on villain who seems fishy and we have the godseat so whatever.

Not sure how you got 24 combos of trips, but that doesn't seem right. It's likely that you're overestimating the number for 4x villain has when he x/r turn. You shouldn't won't be assigning villain every combo of Q4, J4 probably would be raising flop and has double blockers with the board so there won't be so many combos of this on the turn, etc.

Raise flop to hopefully get 1v1, also we can take a free card on the turn since anyone who calls will likely check to us.

Sigh and fold the turn.

when I started playing at 4nl this spring. I had just read a good poker book(Phil Gordon's Little Gold Book). Needless to say I was playing way to many hands IP&OOP' like these sc's and one gappers.

I think you made a good move to iso pre, which didn't work. there are so many Suited hands in these fishes ranges.
