    Default SB Stealing Ranges

    Wondering what a good FR 10NL small blind opening range is against someone with zero hands, say for instance, in a Rush game. And also the sizing. I was thinking:
    3x : {QQ-AA, AK-AQ}
    4x : {22-JJ, SC's from 76s+, JTo+, Suited 1 gappers 8Ts+, any other broadway, A2o+, K6o+, Q9o+}
    I don't think balancing matters at 10NL (esp. rush) either here.
    So what are your thoughts?
    Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups

    Depending on villain's stack, steal with everything you'd steal with from the BU minus trash hands. For less variance or if you're just not that good in BvB, steal less.

    I haven't played much Rush, but when I have my ATS from the CO/BU/SB is through the roof, since most villains quick fold or give it up with a fight.

    I used to steal almost every SB. I stopped stealing very much. I win more money now.

    That said, it's pretty common sense. If you were in the BB vs a random (we assume this person is semi competent) what would you be calling an SB raise with?

    I personally defend my BB pretty lightly these days because of two reasons. 1) I have position. This point cannot be understated in importance. 2) Almost everyone knows that a steal is these days, but not that many understand that other people also know what a steal is. This means that people are quite often stealing with an absurdly wide range which when coupled with position gives you a massive advantage in the BB.

    Add in the fact that not only are you OOP preflop but also post and you are just asking to play incorrectly a good portion of the time. It becomes easy to get into a spewy FPS mindset BvB which is totally unnecessary.

    Anyway, my point is that I tightened up my SB stealing range a very significant amount vs randoms and regs, though I'll obviously still take stabs with almost ATC vs the megatabling super nits.

    Check the small blind section. The rest is pretty good too.
