    Default Rush Poker NL10 video

This is a 30min session squeezed into youtubes 10min time limit (it's fast!). Mostly it's just a lot of folding, but there are some hands, from which I'd like to hear your views. And of course all criticism are welcome.

    The big hands happen at:
    - 1:08 AJs, flopped a flush
    - 1:58 AKo, 3bet shoved from SB
    - 4:49 KK, called 4bet shove by shortstack
    - 7:10 QQ, called raise on paired turn, shoved rivered boat

+ few OOP floats on paired high boards

I watched the first one and all I can say is it is clear you are just clicking buttons and I advise you to never play rush poker ever again.

exactly the reason why i hate playing on FTP... people just like to click that pot button all the time without really knowing what it means/does...

Care to elaborate? It's NL10, so it should be clear for anyone that I'm no Phil Galfond. But comment like that is totally worthless.

Yeah. There were spots where I should have taken stabs instead of check-folding. And at least in the flopped flush hand, I should have bet bigger on turn/river.

i play rush poker pretty much the exact opposite of this and just lagg it up (though maybe 6m plays differently). i stopped watching after that 65s hand, but i would stop quick folding the button. you print money OTB, since you don't need to play balanced poker you can just smack people with your penis whenever you're IP. open min raise 92o, get called, take down the pot with a 1/2 PSB cbet on the flop.

also, dead money is free money when you have position in rush poker, so i would never limp 65s behind just one limper from the high jack. limpers are free money in rush poker because everybody plays so fit or fold. at 6m i'll iso an UTG limper from CO with ATC.

also, on the nut flush hand, there's no way you should've not stacked him. set up your bet sizing much much much better than that.

    I don't like rush poker

lol @ not getting stacks in with the AJ nut flush after the flop raise. bet sizing fail.

Also the flop raise with 2nd pair was pretty donktastic.

You always fold to minbets? There was a very good change he had a weak hand, and SB needs a really good hand to continue, which he did this time.

    1) lol always fold to minbets

    2) there is a third option here

    3) calling is best given you're overreping your hand on this super dry board & there's a guy left to act.

    4) .... ?

How is it totally worthless? I just told you exactly what you need to do to get better and that would be avoid rush poker entirely.

I'd like to comment more in detail but I'd end up spending 30 minutes writing 6-8 paragraphs on hands I'd play differently and why and I'm actually in a tournament right now and should be focusing on that instead of browsing the forum. You should really just play the regular tables and gather reads/think through each action because that is how you'll move up in stakes and make more money.

There were numerous hands you didn't open which I would, limp behind which wouldn't, raise flop when you shouldn't, etc. and I'm sure you know some of this but the fact that you were playing rush poker likely made you miss a lot of value. I'll give you two examples: you raised QJ or something on AQx or KQx and folded to a raise. I doubt you had a good reason to do so. You also missed opening J9s in late position.

Well I agree. But anyhow wanted some comments about this session.

you raised QJ or something on AQx or KQx and folded to a raise. I doubt you had a good reason to do so.
The first guy in blinds checked, second bet 20 cents into a $1.15 pot. Didn't seem like neither had a better hand than mine at that point and I didn't want them to draw cheaply, so I raised. But when SB raised again, I doubt my TP with medium kicker was good.

You also missed opening J9s in late position.
Was thinking about opening that, but I was in MP2 so it was a bit too early for me.

And thanks for the comments. Although the amount of negativity in this thread has been a bit unnecessary, I've gotten some things to consider.

All the cheers and jeers aside, thanks for the video. Haven't played on Tilt in nearly a year. I may have to go back and check this out.

Maybe it was the speed of the video being off from real-time, but I feel like you're getting caught up in the "rush" of Rush Poker.
Tilt is poker cancer. You catch it, you die.

I'm not sure what you mean? I played very tight and didn't go out of line at any point. At normal speed, it would probably be very boring to watch.

Youtube only allows 10 minutes of video?
