Having a conversation in irc w/Sah

[18:32] <Savy> really struggling to get in time today
[18:32] <Savy> had about 3 sessions and only done 20mins

[19:10] <Savy> has gone stupidly well up 5BI in like 1.5k hands
[19:10] <sah_24> damn
[19:10] <sah_24> id wanna be into it
[19:10] <sah_24> lol
[19:10] <Savy> well run good doesn't matter tbh if i play more then no more likely I'd win quicker than usual
[19:11] <sah_24> i dont know if i agree wit that
[19:11] <sah_24> poker is very spurty
[19:12] <Savy> well there's nothing to disagree with lol
[19:12] <Savy> that's just the way it is
[19:12] <sah_24> lol
[19:12] <sah_24> over infinite time sure
[19:12] <Savy> no even over every single decision
[19:12] <sah_24> but . . .

My point is as long as you are playing as well as you can against a similar play pool to usual your winrate will be the same in EV (not all in EV) regardless of whether you are running hot/cold whatever.

Sah seems to think by playing more I'd be taking advantage of my run good and as a result would earn more.

Who is right?

Spoiler:

[19:13] <sah_24> dude ive been playing alot longer than u
[19:14] <sah_24> and made way more money than u
[19:14] <sah_24> so lol
[19:14] <sah_24> you keep giving advice and banging 5nl
